Digital wireframes

Low-fidelity prototype

Low-fidelity prototyping of user flow on search, add to cart and submit order for delivery. The prototype could be used in usability studies with users.

Usability study findings

There are two usability studies: The first one was conducted on wireframes prototyping, and helped find value insights from user flow on how easy is ordering, checkout and track their orders. The second Usability study was conducted on high-fidelity mockups prototyping, and its purpose was to gather insights from user on how to refine the user flow process, and also the UI.

Round 1 findings

– Users want to preview their order details before submit the order

– Users want a multilingual app

– Users want a detailed order status after that has been placed

Round 2 findings

– Little confusing on how to reach Menu Screen from Home Screen

– A more prominent “Track my order” button is needed

Key mockups

High-fidelity prototype

There were made some consistent layouts customizations. The final prototyping shows the user flow on how to filter a product, add it to cart, proceed to checkout and track order.

Accessibility considerations

1

Voice command for search field

2

Iconography for facilitating an easy experience with navigation

3

A suitable color palette with prominent colors

Takeaways

Impact

During the last usability study, I noticed that the users navigates through the app pretty confident, comparing to the first usability study

What I learned

Definitely the usability studies are crucial, because other users may see the experience different than I see it
